DECEMBER 07 NEWSLETTER

Dear Atlantis Customers,

Hope the fall is going well for all of you; we have so much to tell you it may take 10 pages but I promise to keep it to one.  Come see our new facility, we just completed a total rebuild of the parking lot, new landscaping, new seawall, new fencing, we moved the fence back 8 feet for better street parking, graded the parking lot and put in 10 truck loads of new gravel, we are looking good. We are now working on the A-frame, highway store, and it will be completed by mid-December.  Also by mid December all our boats will be totally re-fitted, only one left to complete, we are ‘knocking em’ dead’ here to make our store the store of choice for you and your groups.

The DEMA (Diving Equipment and Marketing Association show) was held in Orlando 31 Oct through 3 November and it was a winner for us. It is an industry only show and many of you were there who are storeowners and scuba instructors. We premiered our huge new display in a 4-booth space and all of you loved it, another move to show our commitment to make us the best of the keys, as always.

We also introduced our new ‘Dealer Referral Program’ to our dealers, the only one if it’s kind in the industry.  Now when you recommend individuals to dive with us from your facility you receive a commission back the first time and every time they return to our store even if they come back directly to us. Our new computer systems will keep up with our referrals as long as we have your dealer information.  Not registered yet? Call us please and ask Teri to send you all the forms.  Of course we have our always-low group rates and remember we have 4 boats capable of carrying 25 divers (40 snorkelers) comfortably.

Hopefully you read our dive specials from now until 28 Feb.  What a deal!  Call now and book your reservations, “winter” diving is great in the keys, less crowded, no bugs, and still warm water, rarely does the temp drop below 74 degrees.  Also, we have great new hotel packages, call us.

The Eagle has landed!  We are now the home of the 100’ Gulf Stream Eagle, Capt. Mark Rose has moved his live-a-board boat to our Key Largo facility, now dive the entire keys in live-a-board comfort.  Mark has operated the Eagle for the past 28 years out of Palm Beach and now we are home for this great vessel.  Check her out on or web page and call now, 2 to 7 days trips from the ‘wrecks of the upper keys’ all the way to the Dry Tortugas.

BRUISER IS BACK!  Our huge ‘pet’ Goliath Grouper is back, each year he travels the south Florida waters from July until November in the quest to make more little Bruisers and he returned to our Creature Feature this past Friday. So come back he is so much fun to play with, along with our other actors, ‘Lightening’ our cuda, ‘Sundance’ our eel and ‘Hot Lips’ our lead nurse shark.  And don’t forget that Frazier Nivens takes his Emmy award talent in the water to video each Creature Feature so you will have a professional keepsake of your world famous dive.

Christmas is just around the corner and although we aren’t full at this time, do call now for your Christmas holiday dives.  Wait until you see our ‘new’ facility and boats.

Happy Diving and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

Capt. Slate
