Being able to teach a variety of courses helps to keep your students diving, allows you to teach programs that you enjoy, and make extra income for you and your employer.
Continuing Education is very important to you as an instructor and makes you more valuable in the job market. The PADI MSDT training course will train you in how to organize, market and conduct a variety of specialty courses.
The course consists of 10 dives, Deep, Wreck, Navigation, U/W Photographer, and Reef Fish Identification Specialties and is conducted over a period of 5 days. As an optional bonus Capt. Slate’s offers you the PADI Underwater Naturalist Specialty Instructor for those staying a 6th day, free of charge, so you get six specialties for the price of five.
All the selected specialty courses are those most popular in resort destinations and will allow you to have the specialties you need to be able to fulfill your employers needs.
An entire list of specialties offered is available upon request if you wish to choose your own.
The course consists of academic presentations, open water training in each specialty, specialty outlines for each course and all materials if you purchase the complete pkg. Individual Specialty Instructor courses are available.
Prerequisites: Current PADI Instructor or attended a IDC/IOC within the last 12 months.
Certification: You will submit an application with a $50.00 registration fee for each specialty to PADI upon completion of each course.
Reef Fish Id application fee is $50.00 Candidates are required to have logged at least 10 dives in each specialty before teaching them.
You will receive a certification card and diploma from PADI Headquarters.
