Several PADI courses such as the Advanced Plus, Rescue and Divemaster programs require students to have First Aid and CPR training. Becoming a PADI Medic First Aid Instructor allows you to be able to offer all-inclusive programs.
Also this program is a valuable course for anyone to take as it teaches them what to do in the event of an emergency situation.
During this one day program you will have hands-on practice and demonstrations in how to conduct this program for your students.
Many potential employers require their Instructors to be certified in CPR and First Aid so don't overlook this valuable program.
Prerequisite: You must have completed a EFR course prior to attending the EFRI course.
You must have completed the Instructor Development Course to attend this program. You may attend before attending the PADI IE.
Certification: To be certified as a EFR Instructor you must be certified as a PADI Assistant Instructor or a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
Upon successful completion of the EFR course you must send the EFR Instructor application along with a $70.00 registration fee to PADI.
