The PADI Divemaster program is the first step in the leadership level and you will learn the skills necessary to take care of others.
This is the course that will prepare your Instructor level background knowledge in physics, physiology, skills & environment, equipment and the Recreational Dive Planner Table and Wheel versions.
Watermanship, stamina and scuba skills are evaluated and your skills are improved to demonstration quality. Your Rescue skills are fine-tuned and you will learn your role as a Dive master in both confined and 5 Open Water Training dives, refining you skills in a working environment.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be certified as a PADI Divemaster and will be eligible to attend the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC).
Complete your Divemaster training at a Florida Keys dive resort and get real resort Divemaster experience.
Prerequisites: PADI Rescue Diver or Equivalent, Medic First Aid or
First Aid and CPR Training within 2 years. At least 20 ogged dives required to enter training as a PADI Divemaster.
Minimum age is 18 years.
Diving Medical examination must be completed & signed by a hysician within one year.
Certification: You must have completed a minimum of 60 dives to
be certified as a PADI Divemaster. You will submit a ivemaster application to PADI along with a PADI rofessional Membership fee of $55.00.
If all requirements re met, you will receive your certification card, diploma and member information from PADI.
The PADI Divemaster certification is a renewable rating with PADI.
